In leading the Learning Technology team, I guided the development of an innovative cybersecurity course in the LMS. These courses were tailored for business leaders. We used custom CSS to enhance content presentation, significantly improving learner comprehension. We also leveraged H5P technology to create immersive case studies with interactive avatars, complemented by self-assessment tools. This design not only elevated the learning experience but also ensured the complex subject matter was both accessible and engaging for our executive audience.
The course was built to be completed by learners at their own pace, therefore it was particularly important that the content was engaging and interactive.

Choose Your Path
Learning materials were grouped by topic. My team developed this choice board using images and a flex grid. Learners could review materials in any order.
Learning Checkpoints
Interactive checks were developed using H5P and were then embedded into the LMS page. These elements were framed by a custom “tab” feature so learners could easily identify the self-check elements.
Branching Scenarios
A series of case studies were presented using a “hacker” persona and a “security” persona. The scenarios were built in H5P and embedded into the LMS pages.
