Hello!

My name is Kristen Dunlap and I am an educator, instructional designer, and, most of all, passionate about LX Design and Ed Tech! I have a diverse professional background that has given me a wide range of skills and experiences, all centered around creating engaging and meaningful learning opportunities.

As an educator in the K-12 system, I not only excelled in the classroom, but also provided enriching supplemental experiences to learners by sponsoring activities such as a competitive engineering team, a robotics clubs, and a summer science camp. I wrote and received two separate grants that allowed be to add valuable educational technology to my classroom. Further, I was a trusted mentor and teacher trainer on my campus and had the distinct honor of being named Teacher of the Year.

Upon obtaining my Masters in Learning Technologies, I joined a growing Instructional Design firm and quickly became a leader in the organization. While at this company, I had the opportunity to work with over 20 higher ed institutions and several corporate partners as well. My true passion lies in using my technology skills to create interactive, high quality online learning experiences. I have a commitment to accessibility in my design and to using educational technology that is appropriate and enhances learning rather than distracting from it! I truly love the dynamic field of LX Design and the fact that it allow us, as professionals, to continuously grow, learn, and improve!
